Welcome to Debate Central. Swords Crossed currently hosts two types of debates: half-hour moderated one-vs-one matchups with voting ("Thunderdome"), and day-long multi-blog symposiums culminating in a discussion with an invited panel ("Debate Night"). We welcome commentary for these events. In addition, anyone may write essays that will be incorporated for Debate Night, or may sign up to argue the pro or con position for Thunderdome. Many of our debates involve the use of cruxlux , a system designed for rapid structured point-counterpoint discussion.
