An Open Amends...
I just wanted to take a quick moment of the membership's time, to apologize explicitly to those of my fellow participants here at Swords Crossed of whom I may have antagonized in the past, or otherwise been guilty of some out of order behavior.
In looking back, I can read where, (and certainly this is in part due to, and in consideration of the absence of the benefit of verbal tone and inflection), I have crossed lines I would liked to have not, and I am here to abjure myself of those remarks, if not the underlying substance, certainly the more ghastly instances of transgression.
I am appreciative of the membership here, in it's entirety, and though I may not be amongst our most tolerant members, I hope to be similarly not amongst our most intolerant. I can make no promises in this regard, only that I have the betterment of SC in mind, and the good fortune of right intention.
So in that spirit I offer an amends...
...even if... despite those right intentions, it turns out to be an amends...in advance. LOL! ;-)
Have a great inaugural day everybody!

That's very nice of you
I know you've got as good as you gave in some of the exchanges, and hopefully we can all take to heart the desire you express so well to avoid incivility -- even while passionately disagreeing.
Agree about the online thing sort of altering the nature of interactions.

Well, I figure if you can't get along with SL...
...you must need an overhaul.
So I am really trying to separate the ideas from the desire to "win the day" kind of behavior, which was what I was raised on in the blogosphere.
And I don't want to be viewed as someone who's ideas are based from such a hyper partisan position that it literally becomes the person I may be debating's, defense! LOL!
I meant what I posted sincerely, so thanks.
