The War On Hello

Halloween is just around the corner and we all know that Halloween is just the first shot on the yearly War on Christmas. We’ll soon be hearing all about how atheist organizations like Sears and Macy’s are forcing their employees to greet customers with an all encompassing ‘Happy Holidays’ instead of a more narrowly focused ‘Merry Christmas’.

My friends, while traveling on my honeymoon, I was subjected to something much more devastating. The battle has begun against an even more fundamental greeting; I’m taking about the War on "Hello."

First of all, I was traveling in the United States, so I expect everyone to speak English, but many of the locals (who had brownish skin I might add, some kind of foreign Invasion?!?) insisted in using foreign words to describe most everything! However the worst part was that their very first word whenever I met them wasn’t even “Hello”; no, they had to use their “Aloha!” What’s with that? I’d try to pre-empt them occasionally, and say ‘Hello’ (Or occasionally “Howdy” (Southern exceptionalism is OK after all)) but they simply refused to get the point!

Often, it was at a restaurant or the hotel facilities, and I could tell that the business was forcing them to say “Aloha” instead of the American Cherished Hello.

Are we going to accept this Hawaiinization of Hawaii? Will we let Mauii become the Polynesian Azatlan?!? This MUST be stopped, but how? Where are John Gibson and Michelle Malkin to lead us in this, our most desperate hour? Have they abandoned us because we didn’t listen to their previous warnings? Was this the consequences that they were warning us about when they spoke of cultural collapse?

It is true what they say - They came for "Merry Christmas" and I said nothing, because I was not a Christian. Then they came for the 5th of May Cinco De Mayo, and I did nothing because I like Margaritas, but then they came for "Hello" and there was nobody left to help me.

Seriously though

Hawaii was a good place to which to be evacuated (fires got within about 5 miles of home)

As long as those brown-skinned folks...

... weren't wearing face coverings of any kind, I think you were safe.

If you really believe this is the "fight of our lives," how come you're not in Iraq?

It was the breast coverings that worried me

Our male dominated culture forces women to cover their breasts for no good reason. Hopefully the French will ban that (as it is optional on their beaches) for security reasons of course. Woman could be packing silicon Plastic Explosives under those coverings.

welcome back dude

Did you enjoy Hawaii?

Hana was nice

Very relaxed, great views. A few too many mosquitos.

Kaanapali was way too 'resort'. I felt like the hotel just saw their guests as a captive customer for up-sales. "Umbrella for the beach? $25/day. Want to use the internet to check on the fires back home? Use the business center and get access for only 50 cents/minute!"

Bah.

Most of the best moments were free.

Hell O

Oh my gosh. I've been saying the H world all of these years. Thank goodness this plot has been uncovered, since I now see it is subliminally supporting the evil one.

How about Hellno, as in Hell NO as a greeting, as an affirmation that we stand with the lord on high, rather than he whose has fallen from grace.

Thank you for alerting us to this despicable conspiracy. I will call O'Reilly and Rush in the morning.

Don't you mean 'Heaven 0' ?

Interestingly, there was a County commissioner or some such in Texas (naturally) who pushed for, and finally got a resolution passed urging people to say "Heaveno" as a greeting instead of "Hello"

O Hell O Hell O Hell O

Unbelievable. Why do Hawaiians hate America.

You must not allow yourself to be assimilated.
