like to call me out on not responding to you on time, or in some cases not at all. Fair enough, but just look at the amount of comments I actually make over the course of a week and consider that I work full time and my commute to work is over an hour and a half.
I wish I was always in the mood to do research and post a well reasoned and well researched response to everything you write but that's just not realistic. Sometimes I read what you wrote and I find it interesting but I just don't have the will to answer it. It's no disrespect and I am not ignoring you but I also get tired, I have other things to do, I have a life, and frankly sometimes I just don't have a good comeback or I don't know what to say.
Also sometimes I just forget about it because there is just so much to look at here, and sometimes even tiny responses take me some time to think of and to write (not the ones where I call you a moron or use a one-liner but anything beyond that).
So forgive me for not living up to your high standards.

Ender, I despise your political perspective ( and lack of conversion to the good side :)), but I respect what you do around here. I can't imagine trying to face a horde of conservatives each coming up with different arguments and expecting me to take them all on. Don't let it phase you. You are doing all right here and I (I can't speak for everyone) appreciate your contributions.
We need to get some thoughtful (or at least calm) conservatives to help you out once in a while. What happened to lordzorgon or whatever his name was? How about Leon? How about Academic Elephant or another Red Stater? It's not like they have a lot of traffic over there.
The world will struggle to raise oil output to levels much greater than 100 million barrels per day, Thierry Desmarest, chief executive of Total, has given warning. The head of the French energy multinational is sceptical that the global oil industry can raise output from current levels of 85 million bpd to meet demand forecasts by the International Energy Agency of 120 million bpd by 2030.
...M Desmarest reckons that Total will produce 7 per cent more barrels in 2007, but he is doubtful about the industry’s ability to continue to meet long-term projections of rising demand. “The opinon of our geologists is we can go a bit beyond 100 million bpd, but not to 120 million,†he said.

your a chicken shit not answer any of my arguments and since they frontpaged you here is the reason why I left. I came back and you're pulling the same crap you were.

I keep seeing these calls on dkos for "massive" boycotts of ABC/Disney and whatever else they own - and all their advertisers. Do the people on dkos realize how tiny their number really is and how they would have about 0 impact even if 5-10% of them did decide to fully boycott ABC and all their advertisers?
Let's see... There might be 10-20,000 active users on dkos and maybe another 10-20,000 lurkers who are swayable. I will be charitable and say 30% of this total number decides on a full boycott (heh I really doubt more than 5% would ever stick with anything like that for over a month). 30% of the max 40,000 is 12,000. 12,000 people who already are very anti-corporate (to even consider such silliness) out of 300,000,000+ Americans is really going to affect ABC and all their sponsors.
Their best bet is to keep trying to intimidate the players involved and the sponsors by mass spam. Mass boycott is impossible from such a community.

In an interview with Action News Friday, he remained resolute in defending the miniseries.
Tom Kean/9-11 Commission Co-Chairman - "People will like it or not like it, watch it or not watch it, that's up to the general public, it's not up to politicians."
and
Kean said the series is damning both to the Clinton and Bush administrations.
"I think the U.S. Government failed and failed very badly in 2 administrations not just one. And any depiction, miniseries or otherwise, is going to show that and the people involved don't like it."
In a statement, ABC says the miniseries is being edited to deal with some of the concerns amidst a flurry of pressure from democrats, pressure that Tom Kean believes is unjustified.
"That's totally uncalled for, I mean there's one thing we have in this country, It's artistic freedom and no politician ought to tell a TV Network what to do with their entertainment programs."
Unjustified is quite an understatement.
"To discuss evil in a manner implying neutrality, is to sanction it." AR
Where was the Republicans' defense of "artistic freedom" during the Reagan biopic dust-up?
What do you think of the Senate Intelligence Committee report that cited that there was absolutely no connection between Iraq/Saddam and al Qaida prior to the war?
Why was Bush still claiming there was a connection more than more than a year after the war was started? And what about Cheney's bogus claims of links between Saddam and al Qaida?
If you really believe this is the "fight of our lives," how come you're not in Iraq?
Margaret Johnson might have looked like an easy target.
But when a mugger tried to grab a chain off her neck Friday, the wheelchair-bound 56-year-old pulled out her licensed .357 pistol and shot him, police said.
[...]Deron Johnson was taken to Harlem Hospital with a single bullet wound in the elbow, police said. He faces a robbery charge, said Lt. John Grimpel, a police spokesman.

what happened to the narrative that everyone on the 9/11 commission opposed this movie? There are not my words but the words of a co-chairman of that commission. Of course it's inconvenient so it must be ignored.
You seek to switch the topic but that won't work if you reply to my comment.
I never claimed nor defended Saddam/Al Qaeda connection. It's immaterial to my defense of the war.
"To discuss evil in a manner implying neutrality, is to sanction it." AR
Thomas H. Kean, the film's co-executive producer and a former New Jersey governor who co-chaired the 9/11 Commission, said that he asked for changes in response to the criticism.
"The script has been altered by ABC wherever they thought... it was justified, they've always made changes," Kean told FOX News on Friday.
When asked whether he thought the film unfairly portrayed President Clinton being distracted by the Monica Lewinsky affair, Kean said, "There's a lot of things that are mentioned... I don't think that's really accurate," adding that at one point the film characterizes Clinton as "still focused" on Usama bin Laden and the Al Qaeda threat, a finding confirmed by the final 9/11 Commission Report.
"There is no such thing as creative license to invent falsehoods about people," Bozell said. "I don't care who you are. You don't have that right."
I note that you also admit that Bush and Cheney have lied repeatedly by claiming a connection between Saddam and al Qaida. Thanks for being honest about that, Ender.
If you really believe this is the "fight of our lives," how come you're not in Iraq?

you should go read the comment. I said I liked saying f--k. I had no idea what you were talking about. No one ever got banned for using profanity when I came here before. I was on this site before Ender even posted comments.
Will Ender be banned for saying a--? Please spell out what words are deemed profane? Is Ender the one who dictates what is and isn't profane? I agree that f--- is but is a--?
It proves my point perfectly if he does ban me. This whole discussion started because of pressure to pull PT911. He believes that it shouldn't be pulled and that false statements should be aired in the name of freedom of speech. Dems leadership should not use their power to stop Disney from airing flammatory and false statements.
I obligided. But it shows his hypocrisy in trying to use his power to ban me not because of profanity but because he can't answer simple questions that point out his illogical and irrational arguments.
How long have you been here. Go back and read how stupid
I've made Ender look in the past. It will teach you how to shut someone like Ender up.
The posting rules have been up since April; I have no idea how consistently they've been enforced in the past but personally I'm trying to crack down on profanity, that's one of my little goals.
I don't notice every instance and I've probably let some stuff slide but using f--k, particularly in comment titles, I tend to catch. I wouldn't personally use ass but I've never discussed the less-clear cases with the other editors, and I think it's on a different level anyway.
If I may make a suggestion, you're likely to find your time here pretty frustrating if you turn it into you versus Ender. Since he is an editor, he can influence the discussion in ways that you can't (e.g. front page posts). I realize he's pretty much "the right" at the moment, and this is supposed to be a debate-oriented site, but I think you can get a surprising amount of back-and-forth discussion going among the liberal posters. I'm not saying don't engage Ender, just suggesting you depersonalize it as much as possible. It's a clash of ideologies, not individuals. Just my $0.02.
