don't recommend "open thread"s

from the past hehe - it got onto the popular diaries list :)

Sorry, newbie mistake with the new

site. I didn't realize that I was recommending it, actually. After I realized that was what I had done, I then realized, as you already know, I cannot unrecommend it!

no big deal

eventually I'll get it so you can unrecommend.

I think

the changes of the domain are not yet fully propagated, which means some people browsing to SC are still seeing the older version of it...

Might take another full day or 2 to catch up completely. I keep seeing people executing old commands in the log.

What do you mean

by old commands?

I mean

as an administrator I can see logs of what pages people access, and I see a whole bunch of unknown people accessing old diaries with old links (from the previous version of SC) - and I think that means that some people, when they go to swordscrossed.org still see the previous version.

I think... I read that sometimes it takes a day or 2 for everything to full transfer so everyone sees the new site.

I dunno, there were too many hits on them, even per minute...

I might have a better idea

for the way comments look, so they are not as bright and colorful, while keeping the different colors. Will work on that tonight when I get home.

How about comment history

Previous one will be able to track your comment history and replies to your comments.

comment history

is on the list of stuff to do. I will have a lot of time off most of this week, so hopefully I can figure out how to do it.
